Paul Weller has spoken further about the famous friends he's drafted in for his new record '22 Dreams'.
As previously reported on NME.COM, the double album, due out June 2, features a collaboration with Noel Gallagher on 'Echoes Round The Sun'.
Weller revealed the Oasis man will not be singing on the track however, saying: ""He's playing a lot of keyboards and some bass, which is not necessarily the first thing you'd think of."
Graham Coxon has also contributed to the project on a track called 'Black River'.
Weller said of the song: "We worked on that early last year - Graham plays drums, backing vocals and guitars."
He added: "I think most musicians you just get on with it and enjoy it, and it's fun and just a joy to do."
But Weller isn't just into the older generations of musicians, reports Newsbeat. He's a big fan of this week's NME cover stars The Enemy, who he recently played with at the Crisis charity gig at London's Roundhouse.
Weller said: "I just think it's nice to hear a band that's got something to say and just putting some effort into the lyrics. There's a lot of good music out there but no one has startled me, lyrically, but Tom (Clarke) and the band seem to be doing it."
